COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Prerequisite: junior standing. Sourcing and acquisition of an internship are examined. Includes resume writing, interview skills, website portfolio instruction, and correspondence etiquette, including phone and email. 1(1-0) F

COURSE OBJECTIVES: 

After successful completion of this course a student should be able to do the following: 

A.         Strengthen communication skills through written assignments.

B.         Demonstrate and enhance oral skills through Q & A mock interviewing and telephone etiquette.

C.         Prepare for a summer internship position.

D.         Development of portfolio website
