COURSE DESCRIPTION: 

Fundamental concepts of drafting for the basic female form and pattern manipulation techniques to develop original garments.

COURSE OBJECTIVES: 

Upon successful completion of this course, students will:

 

Develop an understanding of pattern design, alteration and fit

 

Develop orginal patterns that meet industry and individual body measurement specifications

 

Utilize knowledge of flat pattern techniques to develop pattern for orginal designs
